A cooking app with a lack of food photos leaves you hungry for more.
The interface has a very dated appearance and is very non-intuitive to use.
The main menu is cluttered and confusing.
The current app relies on descriptive paragraphs describe each recipe results in recipes appearing generic and identical.
I belive a food app should make you hungry! It should entice you to explore. To this effort, photos of food were used throughout the app to inspire exploration of the recipes they add the majority of the “color” to the project.
All menu topics from the original app are presented but in a more intuitive manner where each topic gets its own name. When possible, to keep the keep visual clutter to a minimum, menu items are kept in collapsible accordion menus.
