The Brief: “Go Big” While freelancing for Sprout, I was tasked with conceptualizing an interstitial mini-site to drive hype for the theatrical release of The Adventures of Tintin. Given the series’ legendary status, the goal wasn’t just to show a trailer—it was to invite users into the mystery.
The Concept: Digital Archaeology In a nod to the classic “point-and-click” adventure genre, I designed an immersive scavenger hunt that turned the user’s screen into a dark, mystery-filled room.

The Flashlight Mechanic: Users controlled a beam of light, physically scanning the “shadows” of the interface to reveal hidden artifacts.

Uncovering Clues: As players explored the darkness, they triggered interactive “clues” and exclusive snippets about the film, mirroring Tintin’s own investigative journey.
